Hermes Personal

A private, single-user automation tool.

Hermes Personal is a personal automation assistant operated by, and used solely by, one individual — its owner. It is not a public product, has no other users, and is not distributed or offered for sale to anyone.

What it does

The owner has authorised the tool to access his own Google account so it can help him organise his own data. Specifically it can:

• Gmail — read, label, archive and organise the owner's mail, and send email on the owner's behalf at his instruction.
• Google Calendar — read and manage the owner's own calendar events.
• Google Drive, Docs and Sheets — read and manage files the owner already owns in his own Drive.
• Contacts — read the owner's own contacts.

Who can use it

One person: the owner. There is no sign-up, no multi-tenant access, and no third-party access of any kind. The tool runs on the owner's own computer and on a private server he controls.

Data handling

Data obtained from Google is used only to perform the tasks the owner asks for. It is not sold, not shared, and not transferred to any third party. See the Privacy Policy for the full statement.
